With the blessings of Almighty Allah, MEC College of Medical and Allied Health Sciences (formerly known as Vertex Institute of Science & Technology) Mirpur Campus is dedicated to provide academic and technical education and produce highly skilled and motivated medical professionals, since its inception in 2019. The vision is to be a center of excellence to impart education, skilled based learning in health sciences. This Institute is offering BS medical Technology program of four years in five major disciplines namely; Emergency Medical Technology, Clinical laboratory Sciences, Surgical & OT Sciences, Anesthesia & Critical Sciences, Physiotherapy DPT affiliated with University of Azad Jammu Kashmir.MEC College of Medical and Allied Health Sciences Mirpur is dedicated to produce Medical technologists, educated and trained to cope up with state-of-the-art advanced technology in Allied health Sciences with a promising scope in career.

Allied Health Professionals are recognized as vital members of the health team. While our college comprises different medical technologies at different levels, we share the common goal of medical excellence in Allied Health Sciences. Our aim is not only to equip our students with professional skills but also with critical thinking, problem-solving skills, social ethics, and religious values. Nelson Mandela rightly said, "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." If there is one thing that can change the world, it is education. In this pursuit of excellence, I appreciate the co-operation and support from our parent fraternity. I also laud the relentless efforts of our teachers for giving their best in bringing out the best in our students.
